All classes in first year have one period of Computer Applications. This is generally a mix of Word Programming, Spread-Sheets and Data-Base work.

We have several small networks for specialised areas and resource teaching. In addition, we have a mobile laboratory of laptops, all with wireless access to the Internet. All rooms throughout the school are fitted with at least one Internet connection point, and specialised rooms have several connection points.

Computer classes are given in Transition Year as well, and are used in an on-going way in the L.C.V.P. They are used regularly as a teaching device in the Science subjects, and of late, have been indispensable in students project work, which arises in many subjects.

Recently, too, they have become more important as research tools in History and Geography.
